Today is the national french day, famous for popular balls, fireworks and above all, the huge army procession lasting the whole morning. It is also a special day for me, not only because like most of frogs I feel concerned by that day for many historical and cultural reasons. I took part to the procession years ago and I will never forget this experience.

Walking on this wide avenue that for this day only is empty from Arc de Triomphe to Concorde, listening to the music and the crowd applauses while focusing on the rhythm and that dozen of movements you have to coordinate with others, in a sec jets flying over our heads made me almost def for long seconds, and I came back to normal audition a few seconds later in front of a giant french flag drawn by the jet slipstream and covering the sky.

Then I realized that although I did not really hear the music for this time lag I had never stopped one second to walk  and move in rhythm. Sound of one hand indeed?

Today I am not in Paris but at a friend's and only looking at times at national TV show. Enjoying the summer while taking a breakfast outside, I hear voices of many birds and though I am not anymore dressed in uniform and walking with school friends on the avenue, I have this feeling again. Like behind all these voices something speaks that belongs to no bird and that I am hearing without listening to it. The one that makes difficult to isolate one voice.

So many birds singing
I cannot hear the pheasant
crying lonely
