Every thing that should end one day also has a beginning. This blog I have decided to open in order to share haikus I am writing again, preferably in english but sometimes in my mother language, which is french. Why did I stop? When did it all restart? I really do not know, and frankly I do not care. It is such a blessing to be able to write again, and I am not that interested in the whys anymore.

The blog name refers to a Nan Shan book on japanese garden zen art, the picture here I took on Santorini late Easter. I liked very much those blues and whites greek islands are famous for.

So let us have a start together. You will find on this blog some french and english haikus that I hope you like. Feel free to post comments, to make recommendations or give advice. So here are my first blog-published haikus, that I gathered from my first publishings on Facebook haikuku application under my name Guillaume BERNE. Hope you'll enjoy them:

As two black crows fly
Their wings slowly keel over
The yellow rapeseed

White water lilies
A spider sets its light foot
So many circles

Oh they are blessings
For the traveller that leaves
Morning and lilacs
